Hello, Stocking Pelham!

Hi I’m Russell, your dedicated Right of Way (RoW) Surveyor and a proud member of our local council, focusing on RoW and highways. Having called Stocking Pelham home for the past five years, I'm thrilled to have joined the council in the summer of 2023 to contribute more directly to our community's well-being.

As the registered RoW Surveyor, my role involves ensuring that our pathways and rights of way are safe, accessible, and well-maintained. This is vital for everyone in our community, whether it's for leisurely walks, daily commutes, or enjoying the natural beauty of our area.

To achieve this, I'll be conducting comprehensive surveys of all paths twice a year. These surveys are crucial in identifying any issues, from overgrown vegetation to needed repairs, ensuring that our pathways remain in top condition. My commitment is to address and rectify any problems swiftly. However, if an issue falls beyond the scope of our local council's capabilities, rest assured that it will be escalated to Hertfordshire County Council for resolution.

This dual-layered approach ensures that no concern is overlooked and that our community enjoys safe and pleasant experiences on our paths.
